As one of Alexandria's oldest residents, the Potomac River Generating Station has watched this community grow and thrive over the past six decades. We've been a part of Alexandria's success in many ways, as a major contributor to the local tax base, a reliable partner in community service projects and a provider of stable, well- paying employment.

Looking toward the future, we wanted to determine how we can best serve the community, so we talked to our neighbors - businesses, government and organizational leaders - to find out what kind of assistance would be most beneficial to Alexandrians. Of course, environmental issues are on the forefront, and emissions control and reduction remains a top priority for us. Beyond that, we are committed to doing what we can to further other community goals relative to job creation and youth development.

Our outreach efforts focus on the following priorities:

• Protecting the environment and keeping our communities informed of our efforts; and
• Partnering waith local organizations to create sustainable employment, attract new business and support youth programs.

We seek to demonstrate this through on-going communication with you, our neighbors, and focused partnerships.
